that touches every area of our society. It is not new, but a legacy of shame that has often been silently passed down from generation to generation--known as generational iniquity.
Research has shown that by the age of 18, at least 1 out of every 3 women will be victims of sexual abuse either by abusive contact or involvement. Further- more, studies show that at least 2 to 3 out of 6 males by the age of 18 have been victims of sexual abuse.
What Is Incest?
Incest is any type of sexual contact or involvement between
relatives; related by blood, marriage or adoption.
Sexual assault (sexual abuse/incest) includes:
exposure,
fondling,
oral-genital contact,
vaginal and anal intercourse.
It may also be:
visual,
verbal,
or psychological, regardless of whether or not there has been physical contact.
Sexual assault is considered a crime by law and a sin committed by the abuser against the victim according to Scripture (Leviticus 18:6,29; 20:11,12,14,17; 2 Samuel 13:1-20).
Biblically, sexual intimacy is designed only to be shared within the boundaries of a loving marriage relationship between a man and a woman.
There Is Hope
There is hope for you if you are a victim of sexual abuse/incest. The trauma of your past experiences need not prevent you from having a healthy and fulfilling life. You may feel powerless, betrayed, confused and rejected by both people and God. The cycle of these feelings, refueled by your painful memories, can be broken. Help is available to heal and restore the damage. Jesus loves you very much. With His help and healing power, you can be set free from the pain and shame of the past.
If you have not been reborn spiritually, you can be. In other words, you can be spiritually renewed and experience the new life God has designed for you (2 Corinthians 5:17). You can invite Jesus into your heart right now
(1 John 1:8,9; Romans 10:13;
John 1:12). He will be with you as you begin your journey to wholeness.
God desires to release you from the pain of the memories. As you remember the ordeal of the assault, allow the power and healing of the Holy Spirit to cleanse your mind and give you God's peace and presence. Begin to praise God and He will release you and lift your burdens (Ephesians 5:20; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Psalm 22:3; Romans 8:28). Sacrifice praise to Him, the Great Physician (Hebrews 13:15), and over time you will experience peace in your heart and liberty in your spirit. When this becomes a reality for you, then you are well on the way to your spiritual and emotional healing.
Although it may seem difficult--and even impossible--an important step for you, in time, is to develop forgiveness for your abuser. Also, ask God to forgive him or her. This releases God's forgiveness. Jesus and Stephen, at the time of their deaths, were both able to forgive those who executed them. They both looked to heaven and asked God to forgive the sins of those who were guilty.
Below are statistics surrounding the issue of childhood sexual abuse and/or incest. In presenting the statistics, the information is organized by Prevalence and Consequences.
PREVALENCE is the percentage of the population that is affected by child sexual abuse; the general existence of child sexual abuse.
CONSEQUENCE is the impact that child sexual abuse has on a victim/survivor and on our society over time.
Sexual abuse touches every life when it leads to losses of trust, decreases in self esteem, and development of shame, guilt and depression.
Sexual abuse touches every life when it leads to eating disorders, substance abuse, self mutilation, suicide, promiscuity/prostitution, a victim maturing to adulthood and becoming an offender and other psychobehavioral issues;
The statistics are shocking
Reported cases of child sexual abuse in the United States are estimated at 80,000 children each year, according to federal statistics.
1 in 3 girls is sexually abused before the age of 18. (1)
1 in 6 boys is sexually abused before the age of 18. (1)
1 in 5 children are solicited sexually while on the internet. (2)(3)
Nearly 70% of all reported sexual assaults (including assaults on adults) occur to children ages 17 and under. (4)
An estimated 39 million survivors of childhood sexual abuse exist in America today. (5)
Fewer than one in ten of these children will report the abuse. Most of these children will carry the emotional scars and guilt of abuse for the rest of their lives, and many (especially men) will sexually abuse others as adults.
Even within the walls of their own homes, children are at risk for sexual abuse
30-40% of victims are abused by a family member. (4)(6)(7)
Another 50% are abused by someone outside of the family whom they know and trust.
Approximately 40% are abused by older or larger children whom they know. (5)(6)
Therefore, only 10% are abused by strangers.
Sexual abuse can occur at all ages, probably younger than you think
The median age for reported abuse is 9 years old. (8)
More than 20% of children are sexually abused before the age of 8. (7)
Nearly 50% of all victims of forcible sodomy, sexual assault with an object, and forcible fondling are children under 12. (7)(9)
Most children don't tell even if they have been asked
Evidence that a child has been sexually abused is not always obvious, and many children do not report that they have been abused.
Over 30% of victims never disclose the experience to ANYONE.
Young victims may not recognize their victimization as sexual abuse.
Almost 80% initially deny abuse or are tentative in disclosing. Of those who do disclose, approximately 75% disclose accidentally. Additionally, of those who do disclose, more than 20% eventually recant even though the abuse occurred.
Fabricated sexual abuse reports constitute only 1% to 4% of all reported cases. Of these reports, 75% are falsely reported by adults and 25% are reported by children. Children only fabricate ½% of the time.
Consequences of child sexual abuse begin affecting children and families immediately. They also affect society in innumerable and negative ways. These effects can continue throughout the life of the survivor so the impact on society for just one survivor continues over multiple decades. Try to imagine the impact of 39 million survivors.
Health and/or Behavioral Problems:
The way a victim's family responds to abuse plays an important role in how the incident affects the victim.
Sexually abused children who keep it a secret or who "tell" and are not believed are at greater risk than the general population for psychological, emotional, social, and physical problems often lasting into adulthood.
Children who have been victims of sexual abuse are more likely to experience physical health problems (e.g., headaches).
Victims of child sexual abuse report more symptoms of PTSD, more sadness, and more school problems than non-victims. (10)(11)(12)
Victims of child sexual abuse are more likely to experience major depressive disorder as adults. (12)(13)
Young girls who are sexually abused are more likely to develop eating disorders as adolescents. (11)(14)
Adolescent victims of violent crime have difficulty in the transition to adulthood, are more likely to suffer financial failure and physical injury, and are at risk to fail in other areas due to problem behaviors and outcomes of the victimization.
Drug and/or Alcohol Problems:
Victims of child sexual abuse report more substance abuse problems. 70-80% of sexual abuse survivors report excessive drug and alcohol use. (10)(11)
Young girls who are sexually abused are 3 times more likely to develop psychiatric disorders or alcohol and drug abuse in adulthood, than girls who are not sexually abused. (11)(14)
Among male survivors, more than 70% seek psychological treatment for issues such as substance abuse, suicidal thoughts and attempted suicide. Males who have been sexually abused are more likely to violently victimize others. (15)
Teenage Pregnancy and Promiscuity:
Children who have been victims of sexual abuse exhibit long-term and more frequent behavioral problems, particularly inappropriate sexual behaviors.
Women who report childhood rape are 3 times more likely to become pregnant before age 18.
An estimated 60% of teen first pregnancies are preceded by experiences of molestation, rape, or attempted rape. The average age of their offenders is 27 years.
Victims of child sexual abuse are more likely to be sexually promiscuous. (16)(17)
More than 75% of teenage prostitutes have been sexually abused.
Crime:
Adolescents who suffer violent victimization are at risk for being victims or perpetrators of felony assault, domestic violence, and property offense as adults.
Nearly 50% of women in prison state that they were abused as children.
Over 75% of serial rapists report they were sexually abused as youngsters.
Most perpetrators don't molest only one child if they are not reported and stopped.
Nearly 70% of child sex offenders have between 1 and 9 victims; at least 20% have 10 to 40 victims. (18)
An average serial child molester may have as many as 400 victims in his lifetime.

God's Word tells us that the Word itself is a seed that can bring life and health to your whole being. "My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are LIFE unto those that find them, and HEALTH to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." (Proverbs 4:20-23)
"He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions." (Psalm 107:20) "I am the Lord that healeth thee" (Exodus 15:26) "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" (Num. 23:19) "There hath not failed one word of all His good promise." (1st Kings 8:56) "For ever O, Lord, thy word is settled in heaven." (Psalm 119:89) "I will HASTEN MY Word to perform it." God Almighty declared Himself to be the Healer of His people with these words: "I am the Lord that healeth thee." He spoke those words to over a million people (Ex. 12:37). God's people, after seeing all the plagues fall upon Egypt, believed God's words were true. The result: Every one of them who needed healing was made well in preparation for the trip to the Promised Land!
How do we know that?? The answer is in Psalm 105:37, where we are told "He (God) brought them forth...and there was not one feeble person among their tribes...."
Nobody limped out of Egypt!! Nobody was carried on a stretcher! The Lord healed them, perhaps on Passover night! Moses was inspired to write: "If you pay attention to these laws and are careful to follow them, then the Lord your God will keep his covenant of love with you,... The Lord will keep you free from EVERY DISEASE. He will not inflict on you the horrible diseases you knew in Egypt, but he will inflict them on all who hate you." (Deuteronomy 7:12,15 NIV) "'But you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.'" (Exodus 23:25 NASB) If that was true in Israel, under the Law, should it not be much more true for you, who have been redeemed by the blood of God's Lamb and are living under grace, mercy, and truth?
"He (Jesus) welcomed them (the crowds) and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing." (Luke 9:11b)
"Lo, I come, to do thy will, O God." (Hebrews 10:7) "I (Jesus) came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me." (John 6:38) The Leper of Mark 1:40 said: "If you are willing, you can make me clean." Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said, "Be clean!"
"Is ANYONE among you sick? Let him call for the elders (saintly leaders) of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith WILL restore the one who is sick, and the Lord WILL raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they WILL be forgiven him. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much." (James 5:14-16)
"Great multitudes followed him (Jesus), and he healed them ALL." (Matthew 12:15)

It wasn't some who touched, but it was "...as many as touched." Anyone and everyone who needed a healing received when they touched the Master!

"...and He...healed ALL that were sick: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took OUR infirmities, and bare our sicknesses." (Matthew 8:16-17)
"Jesus Christ THE SAME yesterday, and to day, and for ever." (Hebrews 13:8)
God says,"MY covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips." (Psalms 89:34)
"I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD." [Psalm 118:17]
"O Lord my God, I called to YOU for help and YOU healed me. O Lord, you brought me up from the grave; you spared me from going down into the pit. Psalm 30:2,3
"For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the afflicted ones with SALVATION." (Psalm 149:4 NASB) The writers of the Bible did not write in English. English hadn't even been invented back then. And so in certain places in the Bible the original word we translate into English as "salvation" is the same word which we also translate into English as the word "healing!!!" He can "save" and/or "heal" both the body and the spirit!
"Heal me, O Lord, and I WILL BE HEALED; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise." Jeremiah 17:14
"When the sun was setting, ALL they that had ANY sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on EVERY ONE OF THEM and HEALED THEM." (Luke 4:40)
Jesus said to His disciples, "When you enter a town... Heal the sick who are there and tell them, 'The kingdom of God is near you.'" (Luke 10:9) Jesus tells us to heal the sick before we preach the Good News! Anyone can preach a sermon or give a talk...but only those truly anointed can pray for the sick and see God raise them!
"Surely he (Jesus) took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows,...by his wounds we ARE healed." (Isaiah 53:4-5)
"Whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you." (John 16:23)
"What THINGS soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them." (Mark 11:24) "HE [God the Father] that spared not HIS own Son [Jesus], but delivered HIM up [to be nailed on a cross] for us all, how shall HE [God the Father] not with HIM [Jesus] also freely give us all THINGS?" [Romans 8:32]
Healing is a THING, isn't it? Our God is a super Father, above all Fathers. And HE wants to give us, HIS children, those good THINGS that will meet our need for "abundant" life, in the here and now, as well as in the forevers to come. Healing is not a gift that would spoil us as are riches, luxury cars and jewels! Some earthly parents shower their children with expensive presents that ruin the child. Such gifts are evil things! But our God wants to give us health, that we might shine for HIM in a more glorious way! HE desires to give us good, pure and holy THINGS.
The Lord not only wants to heal you of the big diseases, but he wants to heal you of the aches, the pains, the colds and the flu too! "And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them." (Matthew 8:14-15)
"IF TWO OF YOU SHALL AGREE on earth as touching [or concerning] any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven." (Matt. 18:19) God's healing of a broken body or a broken spirit is a pure request that two Christians can agree on with God and know that HE desires to bring it to pass in HIS way and in HIS time.
One of God's names in the Old Testament Hebrew is Jehovah-Rapha. This is found in Exodus 15:26. HIS Name translates from the Hebrew: "GOD THE HEALER." HIS NAME IS "HEALER" BECAUSE HEALING IS PART OF HIS VERY NATURE!! PRAISE THE LORD!
"Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits; Who pardons ALL your iniquities; Who heals ALL your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit; Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle." (Psalms 103:1-5) Brother, sister, getting your YOUTH RENEWED is healing, wouldn't you agree??
"HE giveth power to the faint; and TO THEM that have no might HE increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But THEY THAT WAIT UPON THE LORD [minister to, wait upon, turn to, focus on, pray to, believe in] shall RENEW THEIR STRENGTH; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; THEY SHALL RUN, and not be weary [get tired] ; and THEY SHALL WALK, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:29-31) If you can RUN and not get tired and walk and not faint, isn't that healing???
"And He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; FOR BY HIS WOUNDS YOU WERE HEALED." (1st Peter 2:24) Notice "were" is past tense. From God's perspective you've already received healing...can't you believe for it to come into the present??
There is power in the Name of Jesus. "Jesus" you see is the living Name of God. God the Father is so fantastic that HIS name is a living person: Jesus Christ, of Nazareth, the alpha and omega.
The Father's breath is a living person too: The Holy Spirit. Now we can see that the Father must be so much greater than we ever thought. My name is a mark on a piece of paper and so is yours. But God the Father has a living person, the Lord Jesus Christ, as His Name and the Holy Spirit as His breath. If His Name is a Person and His breath is a Person, how great the Father must be!
There is power in the Name of Jesus. Put a little olive oil on the hand(s) of the elder(s) in the room. Dear reader, an elder is a saint of God of longstanding, who lives a pure and sanctified and God anointed life. I never have novices, newbies, carnal Christians, loose believers touch me to pray for my healing. That can bring a curse! You have a right to be picky about who touches you and anoints you. I don't care how many degrees, titles or honors a person has, they must be holy. I would rather have a sanctified washer woman or a glory filled ditch diger pray over me than all the liberal doctors of theology in the land. So be careful who prays for you and your loved ones!
Next have James 5:14-16 read out loud. Lay the oil anointed hand(s) upon the sick person's head or hand. Pray for healing. Then do what Peter did to the lame man at the Gate called Beautiful. He gave healing in the Name of Jesus! Say something like this:
"We anoint you [John Doe] in the Name of Jesus Christ. There is power in HIS Name. We believe these Words of God we have read. They are true! We pour the blood of Jesus Christ on your BODY. We anoint you with this oil that symbolizes the Holy Spirit. NOW, IN THE NAME OF JESUS WE AGREE TOGETHER THAT YOU ARE HEALED BY THE POWER OF GOD. WE COMMAND YOUR BODY TO BE WELL IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. [John Doe],BE ABSOLUTELY WELL! [CANCER], CEASE IN THE NAME OF JESUS! BY HIS STRIPES, JESUS' BEATINGS, YOU WERE HEALED!! [CANCER] STOP YOUR MANEUVERING AND OPPRESSION IN THE BODY OF [John]. HE, BELONGS TO GOD! [CANCER] BE GONE IN JESUS NAME, THIS INSTANT! FATHER FILL [John's] SPIRIT ANEW WITH YOUR HOLY GHOST. FILL HIS BODY AS WELL. HE, GIVES HIMSELF, A LIVING SACRIFICE. AMEN!!!"
"AMEN" is a Hebrew word and MEANS: DONE, TRULY, SO BE IT, IT IS!!
The above prayer may seem presumptuous. However, Peter and John who gave healing to the paralytic at the Beautiful Gate (Acts 3) seem not to have deliberated about whether it was God's will to heal the man or not. They seem to instinctively have known that healing was for them to give away to the needy. Remember the timing of healing is in God's hands.
Sometimes healings come in an instant like the miracle at the Beautiful Gate. When healing is instantaneous that is what the Bible reveals to be a miracle, a sign, a wonder. But more often healing comes by degrees. Many people lose their faith because they see no instant change. God often likes to heal in degrees because we tend to retain that kind of a healing better than a miracle. That kind of a healing also tends to strengthen us spiritually more than a miracle. Surprising to say, but people forget miracles quicker than a healing because a miracle-wonder happens in a flash, and soon we are on to other things or even on into doubt and then we can lose the miracle easily. But a healing comes slowly and we spend so much time cheering God on, by our faith, that we don't easily forget, and our faith can grow stronger in the process and stay stronger. But if we start doubting our healing can go in reverse. That is not good.
Healing is absolutely guaranteed for the believer. Doesn't God's Word promise we are all going to receive new bodies??
"For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory." (1 Corinthians 15:53-54)
In fact healing is already granted and is already ours. We simply need to pray it into the NOW of our lives, into this space and time. We can therefore thank God for healing in advance. We know that it is His will to heal. We don't have to pray "thy will be done," on whether or not God wills healing, BECAUSE THE WORD OF GOD CLEARLY REVEALS GOD'S WILL THROUGH JESUS TO HEAL ALL WHO ARE OPPRESSED BY THE DEVIL. "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and HEALING ALL that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." (Acts 10:38)
Jesus even healed sinners! The man who had been crippled for 38 years, whom Jesus made whole, was told by Jesus to go and "sin no more" that nothing worse come upon him. [See John 5:14]
We "WERE" healed 2,000 years ago when Jesus took our diseases and bore them on the cross and took the lash, the stripes for our healing. The Scripture says that by His stripes we "WERE" healed! (past tense) (1st Peter 2:24)
But, God may not have revealed to us, yet, His timing for the healing to leap out of eternity and into the natural or the present space and time we are in. So we never give up. We simply thank and ask and seek and praise and believe, EXPECTING the miracle!
We continuously speak against the disease. We CONTRADICT the disease. We speak life over ourselves, in the Name of Jesus. We say "no" to disease. We say, "I resist you, you foul sickness. I do not receive you! I reject you. I repudiate you! I rebuke you, you wicked spirit of infirmity! Be gone! Satan, I renounce you and ALL of your works and ALL of your ways, in Jesus name! I pray the hedge of protection around my mind, and my body, and my spirit in Jesus Name! The blood of Jesus is upon me. I hold the blood of Jesus against this disease! I receive my healing this very moment from my Lord God, in Jesus precious Name! Thank you Father that you have healed me and made me whole!"
Everything we SPEAK is creative. That is why I refuse to say, "I'm dying for a drink of water." That is negative!! Instead I say, "I am LIVING for a drink of water!"
Even MORE what you say in the Name of Jesus is very powerful in deed! Continue to say out loud the scripture promises and to speak out loud your faith statements, the word of your testimony of healing. Such advice as I have given here might seem unscholarly, primitive, too simple, mechanical even. My friend, remember that the Bible was not inspired primarily for scholars, students and Sunday school teachers.
Missionaries tell us they have found the Bible to be a "trans-cultural book." That's a scholarly way of saying any culture, any education, anyone can receive the Truth of Scripture with God's help!! That means Bible truths easily imprint in the hearts and minds of primitive, bottom-rung, third-world peoples!!
Why?
Because there are more "LITTLE PEOPLE" than anybody else! The Bible is written for the masses first and thinkers later. The Bible asks us to faith more than it asks us to think. Simple people faith better than they think. When you build a model, or a kit, or a home it is better to follow the instructions of the designer than to improve on them. Simple people know that. They follow instructions mechanically.
I have been questioned about this view many times. Invariably believers remind me of many holy persons who remained ill or even died of a disease yet they prayed and believed. Or they tell me that if what I shared is true then Christians would never die and we would be healed to live until Christ returns.
My answer to this is simply that it is improper and judgmental for us to speculate about another believer who seemed not to receive the healing they prayed for. Our focus must remain on the Word of God rather than experience.
Further more, if the death of the righteous is not a healing from disease then we are left with perplexity. Our hope must rest primarily on Scripture and only secondarily on true and pure and holy experiences. Experience must never violate Scripture. If it does we must reject any such experience!
Scripture is clear. Even in Paul's story of the "thorn in the flesh" if you read the passage you see that nowhere does God refuse Paul healing. Instead the Lord reminds Paul that His "grace" or gift is sufficient. Paul is certainly healed in Heaven and the Lord's message to Paul was a "STANDBY," not a "no." (See 2nd Corinthians 12:7-9) Also, Saint Paul was a special case. None of us fit into Paul's category. He had his own personal version of the Gospel called "my Gospel." He traveled to the third Heaven and heard amazing things that could not be repeated and he out did all the other apostles put together, writing more of the New Testament than all they. God allowed a special circumstance (the thorn in the flesh) to help keep him humble. It is not fair to use Saint Paul to discourage the rank and file of believers against healing!!
Jesus is not recorded to have turned ANYONE away who sought healing. Jesus said that HE came "that they might have life and have it more abundantly." (John 10:10) He said, "I AM the...life..." itself. (John 14:6 and in John 11:25)
Even one who is as dead as Lazarus shall live. Lazarus had to wait until he had been dead in his own grave for four days before he received his healing. Can you imagine how extreme that is!!! That is the kind of faith that God rewards. No wonder God was pleased with Job who exclaimed, "Though HE slay me, yet will I trust in HIM..." (Job 13:15]
The point is that healing is God's ultimate will for believers, no matter what. The working out of the healing, and the timing of the healing, in this life or the next, is up to God! But, we never have to beg for healing. We simply ask, thank and expect. If our expectation is delayed until eternity and the final resurrection, so be it!
However, if a person insists on looking at experiences then they need to interview those who were healed in the here and now. There are many more miracles happening today than the media, even Christian media will publish. These miracles are affirmed by medical science. The doctors don't give God glory usually, but they do admit that an unexplainable thing has occurred.
Speaking of experience, some believers who have experienced miracle healings report that they made a practice of receiving The Holy Communion on a daily basis. They did not necessarily have their pastor administer the Communion each time. But each morning during their devotions they would read the Scripture in First Corinthians 11:23-32. Then they would examine their lives and ask the Lord to forgive any known or unknown sins. And then they would prayerfully, reverently and joyfully receive the bread and the juice. Some who had no grape juice would even use water, for God has the power to turn water into wine. And so they would trust HIM to make up for their lack.
Please take the many scriptures shared here to heart, if you are one seeking healing for another...or if you need healing yourself. The Lord suffered much that you might receive your healing. Don't give up. Keep on believing!

SHE WAS BEING OVERTAKEN BY VOICES TO COMMIT SUICIDE.
SHE HAD BEEN USING ALCOHOL TO COVER HER PAIN.
SHE CRIED IN TERROR OF ALL THE OPPRESSION SHE WAS SUFFERING.
LEGIONS OF DEMONS WERE CASTED OUT OF HER, STEMMING FROM INCEST AND ALL THE OTHER ABUSE SHE SUFFERED WHEN SHE WAS A CHILD.
THESE SPIRITS HAD BEEN SUPPRESSED, HER HEART HAD BEEN BROKEN, SHE HAD BEEN BETRAYED, RAPED AND REJECTED AS A CHILD BY THOSE WHO WERE SUPPOSE TO LOVE AND PROTECT HER.
SATAN LOVES ENTERING THE SPIRIT OF ESPECIALLY INNOCENT BABIES, CHILDRENS AND TEENS. SATAN LOVES TO RAPE YOUTH VICTIMS AT THE HANDS OF A PARENT, CARETAKER, PASTOR AND CHURCH LEADERSHIP.
JESUS COMES TO DESTROY THE WORK OF SATAN.
GOD IS CHARGING THE CHURCH TO TAKE A STAND AGAINST ALL FORMS OF ABUSE, SEXUAL, MENTAL, EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL, SPIRITUAL, ETC.
THOSE WHO PROFESS TO LOVE JESUS MUST LEARN THE DYNAMICS OF THIS TERRIBLE HORRIFIC ABOMINATION, "INCEST", AND LEARN HOW THE CHURCH CAN REACHOUT AND HEAL IT'S VICTIMS.
THE BUILDERS CAN NOT REJECT THE STONE, JESUS CHRIST AND THE VERY PURPOSE HE GAVE HIS LIFE--TO SAVE, DELIVER AND HEAL!
INCEST AS WELL AS OTHER FORMS OF ABUSE-- UNDEALT WITH DESTROYS THE SOUL (THE SOUL BEING THE MIND, WILL AND EMOTIONS). JESUS GAVE HIS LIFE TO SAVE SOULS.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INCLUDING INCEST--IS INIQUITY. INIQUITY CAN ONLY BE REDEEMED BY THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS. BY SEEKING HIS FACE, CRYING TO HIM AS OUR HEALER AND DELIVERER, HE WILL ANSWER AND GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT WILL LEAD YOU INTO ALL TRUTH AS YOUR DILIGENTLY SEEK HIS FACE TO BE MADE WHOLE.

Selfish teachers may promise peace when there is no peace; and thus men encourage each other in committing evil; but in the day of visitation they will have no refuge to flee unto.

PRAISING AND WORSHIPPING FATHER GOD BRINGS POWERFUL HEALING AND DELIVERANCE
We value worship for we know that worship brings us into the Presence of the Lord and that is when the healing and deliverance begins. We ultimately worship Father God to glorify Him, because He is worthy of all of our praise, worship, adoration and love. Praise and worship brings us closer to the Lord in intimacy.
People who experience pain and suffering (as well as all of Yahweh-God's beloved creation) can find comfort, healing, joy, hope, peace, love, victory, power and relief, etc. etc. as they praise God for his greatness and loving-kindness.
Examples of praise: Father I praise you for your goodness, I thank you for Your mercy, Father God thank your for being my Healer, thank You for blessing me with a pure heart, thank you for curing my soul from all sickness...
Examples of Worship: Father God You are High and lifted Up! You are exalted, and extolled, You are Holy. Holy Holy Holy are Your Lord. I love You dear Heavenly Father, blessed be Your name on high. Because of His greatness and loving-kindness the Bible also encourages us to pour out our troubles freely to him, casting all our anxieties on him (see 1 Pet. 5:7). Psalm 102 is just one good example. Its Hebrew title is: "A prayer of one afflicted, when he is overwhelmed and pours out his complaint before the Lord."
We we praise and worship the Lord, we spiritually enter into His gates with thanks giving and into His courts with praise which brings us into the Holy of holies as we focus on Him, for who He is, and meditate on Him and Him as our Yahweh Rophe, the Lord our Healer, for those pursuing the Lord for healing and deliverance in their soul (mind, will and emotions). As we worship the Lord, He releases the spiritual precious Blood of Jesus--therein a washing and cleansing of all hurt and pain and evil affecting us, begins to be cured, healed, delivered and made whole.
We should praise and worship the Lord daily. What ever time we give to Him, He restores back. We should seek Father God's face as we bow and worship Him and pray and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us in this devotion time. Which includes allowing the Spirit of the Lord to speak to our hearts and lead you in the Bible. He will make and mold you and transform your life into the glorious plans He established for you before the foundation of the world. Always remember, Your Heavenly Father is passionately in love with you and longs to make you holy on innermost parts. We just come as we are, he will NEVER reject us, His arms are open wide to establish a spiritual close and intimate relationship with each of us who come to Him through His precious San Christ Jesus our Lord. While we are/were yet sinners, Jesus Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 He loves us unconditionally, there is NO greater love.

Protecting Your Child From Incest Child Abuse ... It Happens - Child Abuse ... It Happens

"I always thought that as a Christian your husband is first and the most important person in your life no matter what kind of person he is." I was confronted with this statement in an abuse situation recently...it really challenged my thinking. I have prayed and thought about this teaching for weeks. I then had to write what I believe and why I believe it to see if my thought aligned with the Bible.
I believe that an individual’s first responsibility is their personal relationship with God.
I believe that an individual’s second responsibility is their one flesh relationship with their mate.
Then their relationship with their children & family.
I also believe that when a father is sexually abusing his child, the mother must take the child/children and remove them from harm. Now these beliefs don’t seem to be able to co-exist.
Where our understanding breaks down is when we think that putting our spouse first is correct, when putting God first is correct. If our spouse demands that we do or consent to what God has clearly declared wrong, GOD COMES FIRST. To put your husband first in this situation is idolatry -- putting the husband BEFORE God.
I have always been taught that adultery was sexual intercourse with other than your spouse, and that fornication was pre-marital intercourse. (Consent implied in both cases.) However, it clearly states that the thought is the same as the deed in Matthew 5:27-28 "Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." So the inappropriate looking and touching is in God’s sight the act completed, actual intercourse isn’t necessary for fornication or adultery.
The other evening my husband was talking and meant to say adultery but said incest. I think I actually jumped when he spoke because as I heard him, I heard the Holy Spirit whisper...that’s it. I have studied using Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance to look up the Hebrew and Greek words.
Fornication: The Greek word porneia: harlotry, adultery, incest, (figuratively idolatry)
The Greek word porneue: to act, practice, indulge in harlotry, adultery, or incest. (figuratively To practice idolatry)
Adultery: The Greek words moichao and moicheuo: to commit adultery (Break ones marriage vows)
Accept that leaving is needed in the case of danger.
Matthew 5:32 "But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery."
Matthew 19:9 "And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery."
Using the complete meanings of the Greek word for fornication the reason for a spouse to leave and put the other away is adultery, prostitution, or incest. In order to protect the child from future abuse and to help the child find healing in Christ, the child must be removed from the access of the abuser. Christ was very specific in the need to not abuse or offend a child.
These verses indicate that the one person can "cause" another to commit adultery -- non-concentually, such as occurs in any situation of sexual abuse. No matter how "mild" or "severe," sexual contact creates a "one-flesh" bond. This is a profound fundamental violation of another, causing them permanent damage in this deepest part of themselves. God DOES NOT condone this. If God expected a woman to remain with a spouse who did this to her children, it would violate His own word because it would be requiring that she condone (and thereby He condone) this sin.
Mark 9:42 "And whosoever shall offend (entrap, entice to sin) one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea."
1Corinthians 6:9-20 "Know ye not that the unrighteous (unsaved) shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. [Expect a change of conduct but remember it's VERY easy and as common as dirt for the offending spouse to manipulate their way back home, including all the religious-language you could possibly imagine!]
All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

The correct heart behind separation is about God's righteousness in the lives of ALL involved. Sometimes a wife's continued presence can give a husband all the excuse he needs to continue being abusive; the wife needs to get out of the way so God can deal with hubby. Pre-established accountability for personal and spiritual conduct is necessary.
Colosians 3:5-7 "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them."
Jude 1:7 "Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."
Lot had to leave Sodom so God was free to judge. When a Christian wife is staying with an unsaved or backslidden husband, God’s hand of judgment is often withheld. The wife remaining enables the husband to continue his sin. In the case of child abuse or incest the wife must remove the child from the abuser. The child can not defend herself. Because the Bible refers to God as our father and Jesus as the son repeatedly in scripture, a child will identify the conduct, absence, neglect, love, or abuse of their earthly father as being synonymous traits of their Heavenly Father. If their daddy is harsh, abusive or neglectful that is how they will perceive God? How can they trust God, when they can’t trust daddy?
Another thing that may happen if the wife stays with her offending husband is that God will go ahead and deal with the wayward spouse and the wife gets squashed in the middle -- reaping the same judgment as her husband BECAUSE she stayed! This is what often happens when child abuse is reported to the authorities (at least in the United States) -- the wife is held EQUALLY responsible, PERIOD! This would also happen if the child grows up bitter -- that bitterness will be toward BOTH parents, both the one who abused AND the one who allowed and enabled the abuse with her silence and inaction.
Making the decision to separate from an offending spouse is never easy. The physical, financial and emotional toll is great. It is very important to establish accountability counselors who will talk with you and keep your confidence. To guard your heart so that Satan is not able to pull you away so that your marriage can’t be healed. In many states separating from your spouse does not require that you file for divorce, often filing for separate maintenance is sufficient.
